We collect data about how you use the app, including quizzes attempted, answers selected, time spent on questions, streaks, and achievements. This data powers your analytics dashboard and helps us improve the learning experience.
Device Information
We collect device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise the quiz experience
- To track your progress, streaks, and performance analytics
- To display leaderboards and achievements
- To process payments securely via Razorpay
- To send you relevant notifications (which you can disable)
- To diagnose technical issues and improve app stability
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. All data transmission is encrypted via TLS. We implement certificate pinning for additional API security. Sensitive data like authentication tokens are stored in platform-secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Firebase — analytics and push notifications
- Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting
- Razorpay — payment processing (we never store card details)
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained for service improvement.

- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data via the Edit Profile screen
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data upon request
- Opt out of analytics and marketing communications
7. Children's Privacy
Genius Quizzes is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
